Considering I'm sitting in my lecture hall, contemplating gnawing my arm off I'm so hungry right now... I think "Invent My Own Recipe" seems to be an appropriate addition to my bucket list today. Growing up in an Italian family, constantly surrounded by top-notch, traditional recipes, cooking has always been a passion of mine. Whether I am baking a cake out of a box, or trying to perfect my grandma's spaghetti recipe from scratch, I always enjoy my time spent in the kitchen. Therefore, creating my own special recipe to pass onto succeeding generations (hopefully my own children some day) is a desire I've possessed for years. Should the recipe be for a homemade pie or a pasta dish I'm not quite sure; as long as future family members can savor the flavors and hold the recipe dear to their hearts, I'm happy. In my opinion, a homemade recipe is a wonderful way to leave your mark on the world.
P.S. I'm a fiend for sweets, and I tried this recipe over the Super Bowl weekend. I found it on Pinterest, but it's honestly pretty good! Super rich and really easy to make.
